Krasnoye Sormovo to build 11 cargo ships for STLC

MOSCOW, Jan 24 (PRIME) -- Shipyard Krasnoye Sormovo, part of Russia’s Untired Shipbuilding Corporation (USC), will sign an agreement to build 11 bulk carrier ships for State Transport Leasing Company (STLC), according to the documents seen by PRIME on the state procurements portal on Thursday.

STLC announced a tender for the ships in December with the starting price of 10.67 billion rubles. Only Krasnoye Sormovo showed up with a bid of 10.437 billion rubles.

The company will ship three vessels no later than December 31, 2020 and four more until the end of 2021.
